Yesterday the school children went to school all dressed up for halloween. Idgy of course chose to go as a pirate in honour of the lovely Mr Depp.
We were a bit frugal in the parrot department, so made do with a ferret instead.
You really can't get the staff these days.......

We did the whole pumpkin thing when she came home. I think this is a rather jolly chap, very much a friendly sort.
He is as friendly and
smiley as his creator.
Last night we dined on homemade pumpkin pie. This was a first for me and it came out really well. I'm going to visit Mum today so I shall take her some pumpkin pie wrapped up in a gingham napkin. I'm also taking in a patchwork quilt, 2 of my cushions that i make, a sleep sack, various hearts and pictures, yes, lots of pictures to make her new home a home.

Idgy makes the prettiest pirate I've ever seen, watch out Mr Depp!!
Your Mums room will be lovely (and smell lovely too) with all your goodies to turn it into a real home from home.
